Fittingly, that celebration continued as the checkered flag fell and beyond with a 1-2-3 podium sweep by Hendrick Motorsports teammates. William Byron outlasted his Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott on an Overtime finish to secure the first top-three sweep by any NASCAR Cup Series® team mates in Martinsville Speedway history. With each of the Hendrick Motorsports cars sporting ruby red paint schemes to honor its 40th season of NASCAR® competition, the record-setting performance at Martinsville was a storybook ending to a memorable weekend for the team.
